Vehicle Description 1964 Chevy Impala was brought to Minnesota from a southern state (Tennessee?) in the late 1970's by Pease auto dealer Bob Hastings on behalf of Bruce Byker of Milaca.
Bruce took the car apart including the body off the frame as well as all trim, interior and engine & transmission removed.
After coating the under body and frame of the vehicle and putting the body back on the frame, the vehicle sat in Bruce's garage for several years.
Bruce then sold the car to Tom DeVries of Milaca who put the car, boxes of parts, and engine & transmission in his barn for several years.
Tom then sold the car to his nephew, Kurt Hovde of Foley who put it all in his shop under cover for several years before selling the car along with all the parts and engine & transmission to Carroll Christensen of Foreston in 2011.
Carroll had the engine and transmission rebuilt since it hadn't been run for so many years then installed new interior and trim and had the car professionally painted by Auto Body Technicians from Foreston.
